Introduction
Removing physical
barriers to accessibility continues to be a primary focus of Education
for Quality Accessibility, EQA. Through the support and efforts of both
public and private facility owners, our community has seen improved accessibility
provided at many local buildings. These service providers recognize that
eliminating barriers to access for the disabled population also benefits
their able bodied customers and clients.
This on-line guidebook has been prepared by EQA to assist disabled persons
in determining which buildings in our local area provide quality accessibility.
For your convenience, the table of contents lists buildings by various
categories.
Many have been rated by EQA in accordance with our 5 Star Rating program.
The information gathered describes the condition of the building at the
time of our survey. We apologize for any errors or omissions.
We hope you find the guide useful and ask that you patronize those service
providers listed that have made the effort to remove physical barriers
and improve accessibility to their facilities.
It is our intention to update this on-line guidebook on a regular basis.
A paper copy of the booklet is also available free of change by contacting
our office.
